How time flies! It's March already and it seems like it's only January. How have you been? For me, 2013 started pretty good. I've put more time in bonding with friends and of course blogging! :) I have a lot of things to do but so little time but I feel grateful and blessed with it! It's been a while since I posted a food review (restaurant) so here's something worth sharing.
I have heard about The Burger Project for quite some time already but never really tried eating there. So when I saw it along Jupiter street, I know I need to try it and here's my The Burger Project experience.
What I know about The Burger Project is that customers can customize their own burgers! So upon entering we were handed with an order slip for us to choose the bun, burger, condiments, etc. But later we found out that they do have a ready menu already. I wish that the servers can observe if their customers are first timers and orient them. Mind you, it's hard to make your own burger :). It's like you want to put all the sauce, toppings all in one burger. So finally, I chose to order Bleu Buffalo.
Look how I tried to do my own burger. haha |
It's great that we can see the toppings and sauce so that we'll be more confident with the ingredients that we're going to choose. Look how clean is the toppings and sauce station! Cleanliness is very important!
Burgers are best paired with ice tea! Pino Stewed Ice Tea is very refreshing! It's not too sweet and it has it's own distinct taste! It's not your ordinary powdered ice tea!
Moving on to the burgers!!
Blue Buffalo really stands for its name! It really taste like a buffalo wing because of the sauce plus it's a little spicy! The burger was juicy while the veggies were all fresh! You can see the generous amount of ingredients! The buns were fresh and I didn't feel that the burger was oily! I love it!
Now let's move on to Slopiest Joe.
The Chili Con Carne was great! It's a little spicy with a hint of sweetness, this is really flavorful. The meat and the beans were big enough. It's a real chili con carne and not just the one that we can buy in cans! Look at how big is the tomato plus the generous amount of chili con carne.
Though the burger was not that thick but it was enough. Hindi siya nakakaumay . Nakakabusog! :)
Since we were first timers, we also tried some of the side dishes!
Look how big the onion rings are! The rings were fresh, the breading was crispy and it really tastes good. This is how you do onion rings!
Since I love cheese, we also tried mozzarella cheese sticks. Though this recipe would seem very usual but what's sets apart The Burger Project mozzarella cheese sticks is the crunchiness and the generous amount of the mozzarella cheese. The breading wasn't thick that I was really able to taste the cheese! The partnered tomato sauce which was a little sweet was a great pair for the mozzarella. I love this side dish!
Overall, I was happy with the food! It was flavorful and with a generous amount of ingredients. The ambiance was great and with nice interiors plus clean comfort room. I just hope the staff will be more helpful with what to order and more attentive.
Here are some of the photos of The Burger Project.

I would definitely would like to eat at The Burger Project again and next time I would know how to order already :)
Have you tried The Burger Project?
