Casino Royale outfit

How time flies, it's already the last week of January! 2015 please be good to me! Anyway, here's more backlog post from last year specially during the Holiday Season. To share with you one personal thing about myself, I am already in my late twenties and I felt that I want to wear something like a crop top just before I hit the big three. Though my crop top peg is J.Lo, I don't know if I can pull off wearing a crop top when I get older. So here I am trying to check one of my fashion bucket list with out looking teeny bopper.. :) 

Here's what I wore during our departmental party. Of course wore a crop top / backless in dark color and matched it with a sexy bottom  (slit long skirt). In this way I can look age appropriate but still looking fun (btw, our theme for the party was Casino Royale). Wore very minimal accessory, just a sparkly necklace to match the theme and a little contrast with a pop of color. Lastly, to final the look I then again wore my sparkly heels. 

 What do you think? Can I do more of this even after I hit the big three? Share me your thoughts. :)

Black and White

In a few weeks time it's Holiday Season again! So we need to make the most out of 2014. I've been trying to put more ootd post and I hope you are all enjoying. hehe! Though it's raining and it's Ber season already it became hot again. I don't know what's wrong with the weather so here I am wearing something breezy as if it is summer!

With the hot weather I opted to wear something with very thin fabrics and in white. If I get plain tops I try to make sure that it has a little something to make it more interesting like this white top that is V at the back. A little low but not too low. These shorts are very comfortable but a little too short than the normal. :) But I love that it is gartered and with belt like cut to hide my tummy. I really wear minimal accessories lately and just prefer classical pieces like a pearl necklace and this black and white pearl bangles. To complete my relax look, wore my boat shoes and neutral tone bag to maintain the feel of my  black and white outfit. I think it's best to just stay with in the neutral tone for a clean and crisp look.

Sophisticated Relaxed Look

It's weekend again yippeee!! I attended Best Food Forward Event yesterday at Rockwell Tent and boy it was jampacked! Nice one! 

For this post, I want to share with you that you don't need to always buy new clothes to be fashyon.  It's ok to reuse clothes, where in fact why do we need to buy clothes that can only be worn once?? Very unpractical right? It's just a matter of mixing and matching your wardrobe to get a new look. Click on the links to see my previous posts :) (Dress, Footwear, bag)

I was in the mood to wear something a little sophisticated but it sure need to be breezy cool since the sun is up. A sleeveless black long dress is the way to go! To make the look more relaxed, covered it up with a denim sleeveless plus it will keep me warm when it suddenly gets a little cold. To cap off wore these super comfortable Birkenstock (ahhhh and they're coming back). Lastly to make my look livelier, decided to add a little pop of color with the bag and the watch.

Polka Shorts

On weekends I really am more of a casual person so as to take a break of work outfit. More relax and chill feeling. So here's what I wore last Sunday and thank God for a wonderful weather after typhoon Mario. 

Since the weather was hot, I felt like wearing shorts again and I love this polka shirts which is so cute! To tone it down since I don't want to look so high school I paired it with this black animal print top. Simple yet with cheetah / leopard details. And yes it's actually see through so I again wore my ever reliable Airism.

To complete my relax outfit, wore these ballet jelly flats. You just can't see from the photo but it's a little glittery. Simple yet with a little lady like feel.

Again wore very minimal accessories and decided to wear again my colored watch for a little hint of color and paired it with a charmed bracelet for the lady like feel and contrast a very high school look. :)

Do I still look like too young? Hope not. :)

Holiday casual wear

And it's summer again here in the Philippines! The sun is shining brightly and it's time to hit the beach! I hope to be able to go to the beach this year! It's been so long since I was able to set my feet on the sand!

Here's my casual outfit during the last Holiday. I was going out to meet with friends and I was just going to commute that day. The sun was so up but just to share with you I can't and haven't been able to wear shorts nor skirts for the past few weeks due to scars. I have scars and pasa on both legs due to my clumsiness. :) I have been bumping to office drawers that caused me scars and pasa. :) 

I decided to be very causal since I will commute. Nothing very attractive to bad peeps so I wore this very breezy sleeveless top and with out a choice paired it with jeans. The easiest way to go for a casual wear but yet trendy.

Now I am already able to appreciate this kind of style for sleeveless. Previously this type of style make me look bigger. But with this kind of style, you need to get the right side! You should get your actual size and not something bigger. I like that it hides tummy flabs! Since it's sleeveless and it's not a thin spag strap. I like the thickness as it doesn't look too sexy even if I exposed a lot of my skin. Very presko feeling but not skimpy looking. 

To give my look more edgy I wore this super nice flats with a very loud design. Though it is in animal print it still matched my relaxed non skimpy look but still trendy.

Lastly, when I commute and during summer season I really am not fund of wearing too much accessories so I wore this in thing bracelet that my niece made.

Hope you appreciate my casual ootd. Casual outfits need not be boring. :)

Jean on Jean

 Happy 2014 everyone! Here's a very quick post for today. After a lot of festivities, I think that I need to cover up my tummy haha! So I thought of wearing a loose top! haha  So tried to pair it with another jeans and thought of trying a Jean on Jean look ..... see if I can pull it off. 

With a lighter jean top, I tried to pair it with the usual colored jeans and I think it looks fine. I think wearing Jeans on Jeans look will always depend on the type and color of jeans plus the style too. For me there's no rule on it but for this look, I think it's better to pair different colors of Jeans but with the style of my top I think I can try pairing it with the same color hue of jeans too. ( I would probably try it next time hehe)

Since I am already wearing a Jean on Jean look, I decided to wear this chucks in red since it's new year. :) To have a red color on my look. I was supposed to wear a colorful footwear. hehe  And again, a pop of color with my bright colored watch.

Lastly, to be on the safe side given my first Jeans on Jeans attempt I decided to use a neutral black bag to manage my total look.

Surfer look: It's a short kind of day

And it was a laid back day after Christmas! Happy Birthday Jesus! Thank You for giving me this time to relax, chill, catch up on some things and bond more with my family and friends.

It's a laid back feel for this post! I super love to wear comfortable clothes and for me comfort will always be wearing shorts. haha 

And Yes, though it's Holiday season I find the weather a little hot. It's just only last night that I felt the cool wind of the season. But early that day, it was sunny heat so yes short it is. haha

Oh my another tiny shorts. Oooops hehe. I find that shorts now a days are tiny, a little shorter than my preferred length of shorts. But it's a little hard to look for a little longer shorts that fits well, shorts that are not long. haha Hope you get what I mean, so anyway who cares! I got this tiny shorts anyway. haha

I love its printed details so I paired it with a simple black polo shirt. Surfer look yeah?

To complete my surfer look, I wore this super comfortable footwear where at first I intend to use during rainy season only. But then it's comfortable and light weight so I can't help to use it more often already.

Since I will be running some errands that day, I decided to use my ever reliable big sling bag! I love this as it has a lot of functional pockets both in and out of the bag. I can wear it on my shoulders / sling / hand carry. I love this for being functional!

Lastly, as we will be watching a movie .... Yes! I do watch MMFF movies haha Guess what movie did we watched :) I need to bring me my cover up in case it gets cold. I bought several scarf during my last trip and now I am learning to use them. hehehe

And how I realized how can a scarf change a look from simple to fab! What a functional accessory! Though it's big, it's thin and soft that I can just shoot in my bag with out it being bulky! Very handy too!

Here's my soft scarf with skull design. I find it rebellious glamour look. :) 

Now, I have to learn how to make different looks using a scarf.

If you notice on my posts, I don't pile up several accessories anymore. I just don't feel like piling them lately so again I wore minimal accessories and tried to wear this native bracelet that I got from one of our Christmas Exchange Gift game. It's a Pinoy Native product! Since it's in color black I can use it and match it with my different looks.
