Zero Kuma Concealer

How's your long weekend??? At long last, a long weekend again for this year!!! Yippeee.... I've been waiting for this long weekend to have a good rest and do some other stuffs that I wasn't able to do due to my busyness at work. And when I say busy, it is coupled with late night sleep partnered with early morning rise. So to be honest, I noticed that my under eye became puffy and dark. Happily, I got Zero Kuma Concealer during K-Palette blogger's event which I was super excited to use. Let's see if it satisfy my excitement and expectation.

Zero Kuma Concealer is not your ordinary concealer!!! It is Concealer plus Beauty Serum in one! Yes, I know your question.... What does it mean? It does what a concealer should do, cover blemishes and dark spots and because it has a serum it also do moisturizing, brightening and Improves Blood Circulation. Bonga diba?? Zero Kuma Concealer is available in 3 variants and each variant has a different usage.

First is Zero Kuma Concealer in #1. It is the moisturizing variant, if you have dark circles and dry skin this the one for you!

Most of us have dark under eye and some could also have dull skin and pigmentation. If you have these problems Zero Kuma Concealer #2 is the right one for you.

Lastly, to improve blood circulation and minimize dark circles Zero Kuma Concealer #3 should be your pick.

Took swatches with Yellow Yum during the event.
In choosing Zero Kuma Concealer, you shouldn't look at the shade but rather focus on what problem you want to address.

Here's what I got during the event. Zero Kuma Concealer #1, due to it's moisturizing effect it is the most ideal variant when you don't know what to get. You can't go wrong with this variant if you want to give Zero Kuma Concealer as a gift.

It's nice that they provided a sticker in English!!!

Time for swatches.....

When blended.... You can see that it blended well with my skin. The half right part is the one with Zero Kuma Concealer. You can see that it's hard to know if which part has the concealer.

Here's my actual test for you to appreciate Zero Kuma Concealer more. Prepped my face with powder and covered blemishes. Leave under eye with our any concealer yet for this test. Nakakahiya man, keri pa din! :)

No under eye concealer yet.
Small amount goes a long way
With Zero Kuma Concealer on my right eye
Can you see the big difference?? It instantly covered my dark circles and reduced the puffiness look. Bongacious diba!!!

Both eyes with Zero Kuma Concealer

My Verdict:
  • I like it as it's a concealer with sebum
  • I only need to put small amount and it goes a long way
  • It's easy to blend
  • It doesn't cake
  • It doesn't have any weird smell
  • It works!
I would like to try Zero Kuma Concealer #2 when I finish this variant! Love Love Love! K-Palette really invents great products which I can say they put architect on it. They don't just invent your ordinary cosmetics but there's something into it that makes it different from other brands!

Tip: Observe hygiene, it's recommended to swatch the product on your hand first then use a brush or your ring finger to blend it.

Disclaimer: Got the product during K-Palette blogger's event. Above review is base on my personal and honest opinion.

Cream-O Crinkles

How's everyone! Here's another food post, while I am road testing beauty products that I got. You may not know that I love crinkles #simplepleasures! haha And I saw this Cream-O crinkles while getting "baons" of my pamangkins. Of course I do get some of their baons and bring to the office because I get hungry even before lunch time came! hahaha

Since I love eating crinkles, my expectations of this is just simple. Sweet, chewy and moist.

Ayan chewy daw! Same with my expectation! haha

The picture looks yummy...

Actual product looks different from the picture...

My Verdict:
  • Not to sweet which is a good thing.
  • But it taste somehow like a brownie.
  • It's not chewy as expected and not the right amount of sugar powder (although I don't like sugar powders).
  • Overall, it is a good baon or snack if you want something handy, sweet and doesn't expire easily but I will not buy this often.

What do you think???

Zubu Marketman's Guava Jelly

It's so nerve wrecking to watch the news and worrying much for my workmates that have not yet able to go back to their homes since last Monday. Gosh gosh! Thank God it stopped raining but we are still experiencing water world. I hope that the flood will subside anytime soon. In this kind of weather, it is best to stay home! I can still remember how sudden out of no where the water rised and it was so scary! So better stay at home , for those who really can't keep their butt at home might as well go volunteer! When at home, we are not as useless as we think! Communicate to those who are stranded and try to get help in the best possible way.

So going into my post today.. :) Since I just stayed home, there's the risk and high probability of no electricity. It is important to shut down the electricity to areas with high flood. So what to eat?? One of the best food to eat during this kind of weather is bread. It's easy to prepare and keeps us full. Here's what I paired with the bread. Marketman's Guava Jelly from Zubuchon foods.

Marketman's Guava Jelly is made by Zubu Foods Inc.

It's color is somehow reddish pink with just the right sweetnes taste. I can also taste the "guava" flavor. But it has a thin and syrup like texture and doesn't have any guava bits. But overall I like it, I would like to try their mango jam next time.

I hope everybody is ok! Now for us who are lucky enough to be safe and sound. Let's do our part, volunteer or donate anything like old clothes, blankets and easy to eat food either n Red Cross, local municipalities or just check twitter. I'm glad that everyone are very active to help. God Bless us.

Travel Atomizer

I've got this Travel Atomizer for quite sometime already and I tell you this is really very handy! I've brought this with me on my recent business trips and I am very happy with it! It save so much space and I can spray anytime and anywhere I want to! I can even just place it in my pocket and just a little spritz here and there when needed. Thanks to Primaluxe Manila! Look, it is packed in a box.

Are you excited how to use this?? Travel Atomizer is a small and very hand perfume case that you can bring anywhere. Now! You can bring your favorite fragrances anywhere and anytime by jut refilling them in the Travel Atomizer. It is so easy to use.

It is available in different colors but I opted to get the Gold color since it is the closest color for yellow (haha wala lang). So let's try it. Just open your favorite fragrance then press the bottom part of the Atomizer just above your fragrance and do it continuously until you reach the desired amount.

Nice cute color

Open space so you'll know if you still have enough fragrance

with a little amount

after several press, very easy to use

I love it since it's very handy and so easy to use. But just be cautious since it's not compatible with all the fragrances.

Revlon PhotoReady Powder

Finally, I am able to blog about Revlon PhotoReady! Sorry that it took a while for me to blog about this, I finished my previous powder first. Going on! I've been very intrigued how a Photo Ready would work on my skin. Revlon PhotoReady™ Powder eliminates shine and evens skin tone. Photochromatic pigments bend, reflect and diffuse light to help erase flaws. A micro-refined ultra-lightweight texture with a soft, luminous finish.  Great right?? Let's get it on.... I got 020 Light/Medium since I have somehow a fair skin.

Look, it is sealed!
Revlon PhotoReady is a compact powder that can be used on it's own or after foundations. It is in a thin compact type with a mini mirror and a brush.

Swatches! Actually, I really had a hard time taking photo of the these swatches. The color matched  perfectly with my skin so I needed to put on additional layers for you to be able to see the powder in these pictures.

Can you see it???

More closer look for you to be able to see it. :)

Can you see that it blended so well with my skin??? I am super loving it already!

What I like about the product:

  • The PhotoReady that it is!
  • It matches so good with my skin tone! Love love love!
  • Easy to apply with the included brush or with a sponge. I don't have any problem using the brush since it's not harsh on the face.
  • Only a little product is already good on the skin, this will go a long way.
  • It has a low to medium coverage, you might wanna use a wet sponge for a heavier cover.
  • I can also use this as my setting powder after foundations.
  • I use this going to the office everyday and I don't need to retouch.
  • It is thin, a great thing to prevent additional bulkiness in bags.
  • It doesn't have any weird smell.
  • It has SPF 14.
  • And lastly, it's oil free! Great for oily skins. Yippe!
The only thing that I want to suggest with this product is to have higher SPF. :) haha

For those who are experiencing break outs you may think that this is not for you! But just conceal them properly and top it off with Revlon PhotoReady and your sure to go!

P.S. I'm having break outs lately (which I think is due to stress) although I'm no teenybopper anymore haha! But look at my photo below how nice Revlon PhotoReady blended with my skin and made it luminous and somehow flawless.

with flash
Pardon me for my break outs, so I didn't take a closer photo. :)
P.S. The shiny effect at the center of my forehead is actually the flash that bounced back I think and not shine at all.

Overall, I am very happy with this product! I will blog about Revlon PhotoReady Airbrush soon. I've already used it several times so stay tuned.

Share me your stories too!

Disclaimer: I got the items at my own expense. :)
