Holika Holika Nail Polish

I seldom post about my nail activities, so here's one to share my latest nail art. haha! Before I proceed please beware of my nails as I was the one who applied the polish on my nails. Hindi ko talaga maperfect ang paglagay ng nail polish ( I really can't perfect applying nail polish). Hindi ko tuloy pwede maging other career ( I can't have this to be my other career)! haha Joke!

Us girls, part of our kikayness is having our nails done! We love to be creative and express our feelings and also incorporate it also in our nails!

For this post, I would like to introduce to my Philippine followers (oops mostly my family and friends haha!) Holika Holika nail polish. Holika Holika is a Korean brand somehow the same with The Face Shop. Koreans really are vain as they are also very particular with their nails! Going back to Holika Holika Nail Polish, they have a wide array of colors but I chose mature type colored nail polish since I need to look my age. Don't get me wrong, I am very grateful that I look a lot younger than my actual age but there are times and instances that I need to look my age. So what to do what to do?? Idadaan ko sa outfitey (I would do it via my outfits) and it includes my nails since I will definitely not do it with make up since I believe that make up should enhance our best facial feature and not to alter our look. Ang daldal ko na ba ( Do I talk to much already)?? hehe

I got 4 shades since I am not yet sure with the quality of Holika Holika nail polish yet. So here's what I got which are mostly safe color. Since I love colors but I need to be on the safe side, I got a red one which is good for all ages plus these warm tones of pink and violet.

Look at the simple yet chic chic packaging plus the logo of Holika Holika. It looks very majestic and enchanted! I don't really know how much ml is per piece but the size is the same with the other Korean nail polish. It's not that small but it's oh so very affordable. I hope that Korean cosmetics here in the Philippines would be very affordable too.

Since it's Chinese New Year today, I opted to use first the red one though I want to use the pink already haha! 

What I like about the product:

• It's very pigmented, I only apply it once except for my fingers with wider nails which is the thumb. But if you like to make it more vibrant you may add one more application.
• Though it smells the same with the other nail polish, it doesn't smell that strong. I don't even recall my room to smell like a nail polish.
• It dries very quickly! 
• I don't even applied any clear polish to protect it and give it a little polished look.

What I don't like about the product:

• The same with the other polish, it doesn't stay long. But since it's very affordable this is not a concern at all as the other nail polish products doesn't stay long either.

I would definitely want to get this again!

Skin Cravings Scrub Me Pretty

 Here's another product that I just got recently via a raffle in a congress that I attended. I didn't expect that the package has this inside. I actually saw this in the supermarket where my family goes. Their display was very attractive and eye catchy but I didn't get it then since I still have my stocks. But it's good that I can now try it and share my experience with all of you.

Look how cute is their packaging, very girly! By the looks of the packaging, you already know the personality of their target market! Young, fresh, hip and who likes fruity smells of toiletries. For this post, I got a body scrub in strawberry yogurt scent.

Look that it's dermatologically tested. On my image below, you can see that there's little strawberry of scrubs.

What I like about the product:

• It smells very strawberry and fruity sweet!
• It feels very creamy on the skin.
• I can really feel the tiny scrub as it do its work!
• My skin felt instantly smooth and smells like strawberry.
• Even after one day my skin still feels very smooth unlike the other scrubs that it only feels soft for some hours.
• This is one good body scrub!

I would probably buy this again. I would now like to check out their other products.

Celeteque Dermo Science + Make Up Remover

 Here's my first installment of the Celeteque products that I got. As you may all know, I've been into several events since the start of the year and it means I am able to doll up myself. And so after each event, I always remove any make up that I wear! Girls! We all know that it is a MUST to remove make up before going to bed! So I was happy that I got this Celeteque Dermo Science + Make Up Remover Cleansing Facial Wipes.

Looking at it closely, it is said to have Active Skin Hydrates plus it's non-comedogenic, hypo-allergenic and dermatologists tested. It's like very light and good for sensitive skin. In a pack, it has 20 facial sheets. 

The packaging looks very derma-ish where it looks like that Celeteque ensured to have a quality product. A product that will cater to the need of the market and in this case a gentle and mild make up remover. 

Since it's in a plastic type, like the other facial wipes you can get the wipes via an opening in the middle. It is big enough to easily pull off the facial wipes but not too big to make the wipes dry.

Now moving on to the wipes....

What I like about the product:

• The wipes are like cottony and soft. 
• It is still hydrated upon opening. 
• It feels cold even if I didn't place it in the refrigerator and so is the weather is hot.
• Upon applying, it doesn't feel oily on the skin.
• It really smells good! I like it. The smell isn't irritating. It smells refreshing.
• It really removes make up including eyeliner and mascara! Great right!
• After wiping, my face really feels clean. (Then I washed my face) Don't use this solely!
• It has a right size of the wipe. Big enough to wipe off the make up on the whole face.

What I don't like:

• None

I would definitely buy this product again.

Another great thing about this product is that it is good for traveling! I won't need a make up remover and cotton separately.  It is very handy and light weight when packing! Yippe! Look how I was able to remove my make up!

Ice Breakers Sours Hearts Strawberry

 I dedicate this post to the young people who claim that they are already in love. :) hehe This is a Love month post for you young ones. When we are young, we thought that we have a very big problem on us but it is just actually very petty. But one fun thing when we are young are crushes and puppy loves. So what to give to your crushes that won't break your pockets. Here's another cutie patutie item that I got at K-Land. We actually have this here in the Philippines at candy stores but not with heart shape. So I ensured to get this Ice Breakers Sours Hearts Strawberry.

I just noticed that Ice Breakers is actually sugar free. Yippe! Look how girly and cute this look like! This is also available in watermelon flavor but it's not watermelon shape so I got this instead.

It has a small opening but small enough that the candies will easily come out. The small opening is good so that the candies will not come out all at once, it won't fall!

But it has another opening if you want to get a lot! haha!

It is small but very tasteful! I really tasted its consistent sourness and strawberry fruity taste until I finish it. Look at the strawberry particles. This is really one good candy!

Billidian Collagen Essence Mask Pack

Again, it's Love month and it seems that January just passed by. I've been pre-occupied with a lot of things and events last January that I need an instant pampering to relax! And I remember that I got several masks on my last trip to K-Land and it's time to bring them out and use them. I'm really excited to this instant relaxation. 

I first tried this Billidian Collagen Essence Mask Pack. I actually am not aware of Billidian and I think I didn't enter any Billidian stores so I searched about it but also didn't find anything about it. So moving on, this is a Collagen Essence Mask Pack. What I know about Collagen is that it is good for mature people as it is like an anti-aging property. So to be sure about it, I researched about Collagen and I found out that Collagen actually exists naturally in our skin. It acts as the strong property on our skin. As we age, we tend to loose some of our collagen that result to loosing skin elasticity and firmness this means our skin gets thinner, starts to sag and wrinkles starts to appear. Though I have oily skin, I tried this pack due to its Collagen property.

The mask is very cold even if I didn't place it in the ref. It has a nice sophisticated smell but not irritating. 

Upon placing it on my face, I felt very relaxed! When in the middle of the treatment (kung maka treatment parang nasa salon??haha) I felt a tightening effect specially on the cheeks. I didn't feel any irritations and itchiness. 

After 15 minutes, I removed the mask sheet and my face felt very light and refreshed. My face feels rejuvenated! My skin feels tight but smooth. The next day, when I washed my face, it feels very smooth like a glass. My face glides smoothly as if I have a very flawless skin.  Is it because of the Collagen? I also didn't see nor feel any other complications with my skin.

This is a great mask! I want to try another Collagen mask next time. What type of masks are you using?

Chocolate Strawberry

How time flies, we are already on the second month of the year and it only means one thing! Love month, we can hear, see, and feel the love is in the air. So this post is just in time for this love month. There will be alot of merchandise available in the market that you can choose from to give to your love once. Most common gifts are flowers and gifts and for this post, let's talk about choclates. Yipee food. haha!

Choclates are always one of the favorite Love month gifts since it's sweet for sweetness. But I guess this is an alternative or partner to flowers, but many are giving chocolates specially to those who don't want flowers and this is very easy to keep. Para sa mga nagtatago at shy at secret, idaan na sa chocolates... Another thing is that chocolates are sulit since it's something you can eat unlike flowers, when it dries up it will end up in the trash can. 

How about chocolates and strawberries?? I don't know what's with strawberries, maybe because it's color red and how cute or sophisticated it look that it's also a staple in the Love month. So why not give a chocolate coated strawberry this love month?? Great right?? :)

I actually got this in a supermarket/pasalubong center from K-land. Look how premium looking is this Chocolate Strawberry. It's in the form of white and milk chocolate caoted on the strawberries.

It's nice that it has a paper layer on top so that the chocolates will stay on place and won't stick on the carton.

Look at the gold holder of the choclates, it looks very premium right? Plus the chocolate cups for each piece. You can really see the totalness of this product through it's packaging.

It contains 15 pieces of chocolated coated strawberries with 5 of the white choc and 10 of the milk chocolates.

On a closer look, you can see the shape of the strawbberies including its arcs.

Since it looks very premium, let's now know if it taste premium.

White chocoalte, doesn't taste that premium. It taste like the ordinary white chocolate but it's not too sweet. But it is still good. The Strawberry is actually a wafer, I thought that it will contain a real fruit. But the wafer really taste like a strawberry plus it's very sour! I can taste seperately both the chocolate and the wafer. The wafer melts in the mouth along with the choclate. I wasn't fund of it that much.

Moving on to the Milk Chocolate, this actually taste a lot better than the white chocolate. The milk chocolate isn't the cheap quality of chocolate. It's very milky and chocolatey, the taste blends well with the sourness of the strawberry wafer. This is good!

Packaging is very important as it gives the story and impression with out the experience yet. But the packaging is nothing if the content or the product doesn't match the packaging. For this item, the milk chocolate saved it and have matched the packaging. This is actually quite affordable so it's good to give to your love ones this love month. But I got this in K-Land. Nature Republic Eco Crayon Eyes

In doing my make up, I am not really into eye make up since it requires practice and takes the most time in prepping up. If I need a certain look, I need to practice days before the event so that I am sure that it will turn out the way I wanted. My work requires a lot of time so I don't have the luxury of time to practice yet. (Hmm, this give me another realization, I need to put time to this! haha) So I need a user friendly and easy to use eye make up like this one! When I first saw this, I tried and I knew I will definitely get this! It's Nature Republic's Jumbo Eco Crayon Eyes.

It has several colors though I already forgot them hehe. But I got the one in pink since I am somehow a little conservative in terms of eye colors.

I've been reading several posts about jumbo eye sticks and how it's easy to use. So finally I've got mine and I think this will be the perfect Jumbo eye stick for me. 

It is basically an eyeshadow in stick form. I like it this way since it's like I am just going to draw the color on my lids when applying. It's shimmery and with a silky smooth texture.

It looks scary on the first look right? Specially the picture that I took with flash. It looks very dark pink. So let's try it. But before I move on, I want to share with you first what type of eye make up I was searching for. I want an eye make up that is very handy, easy to use, and very wearable. I want something that I can either use everyday or on some specially occasions.

You can see that it's just very light! It's easy to glide on the skin and has the shimmery and silky finish look. It's not something scary nor bright for an eye color. Remember that it's really hard to use red and pink eye colors since most of the time when you don't know how to blend blend blend, it will turn into black eye look.

When blended, it gives the skin that bright natural look. You can also see that it has the right light pigment.

You see how it gives my eyes brightness and life compare to the one with out that looks very flat. You can also see that the pink color is just very light but it gives my eyes a sophisticated finish. I had 1 to 2 applications and just tapped it with my fingers to blend it.

What I like about this product:

• It gives brightness to the eyes
• It's very pigmented even if its shade is very light
• The shimmer part is just right where I can use it both day and night
• It's a stick for easy to apply, glides easily
• It stays on the skin properly
• It's a twist stick so no problem with sharpening
• This is very handy
• Easy to blend, just tap it with fingers

The only thing to consider is that it's a stick so better to wipe it with a tissue to ensure hygiene specially when you'll use it with clients or friends.

Final Look:

Look how it brightened my eyes, I only wore eyeliner under the eyes. I also used it on the tear drops.

I am so loving this product. It's a must have in my kikay kit already!
