Mother's Day Specials

Today is Mother's Day! The day specially dedicated to our Mothers! We make them feel extra special and let them know how much we love and appreciate all their hard works for us! Carmex

As a fashion and beauty blogger, one thing that I can't live with out is Lip Balm! I may go out with out bringing any cosmetics but not lip balm. I don't know why my lips are always chapped but maybe it's because of the super hot weather we have here in the Philippines. My saviour to this problem is Lip Balm! I've been using lip balms ever since high school and have tried several brands already. I've already tried many brands and there's one brand that I only got to know last year and it is Carmex. Oh my gosh! I can't believe that I only discovered Carmex last year and just in time as I was searching for it online I found out that it is readily available in almost all leading department stores. Hoooraayyy!!!

Here's another story of my recent vacation. It was a super hot vacation and besides bringing Snoe Suntervention sunblock, Carmex Lip Balm is one thing that topped my list when packing. I got the Carmex stick.

I have been using Carmex in the round packaging and I was planning to finish up previous sticks that I currently have on my vaca trip. But I can't help not to get Carmex Lip Balm in stick before I get going on my vacation.

Here's what I think:

• It really made my lips moisturized even with the super hot weather!
• I did not feel that my lips were chapped all through out my vacation.
• It is very light weight when applied, as if I was not wearing anything.
• I loved the strawberry smell!!! Like!
• What a great thing that it has SPF 15. Perfect for my sunny sunshine encounter!
• It really is Long Lasting relief for dry chapped lips.

P.S. I have several Lip Balm and have it on different places! haha This is really my must haves item.

Milky Way Midnight

Chocolates are everywhere! Chocolates galore! Gosh, fattening! haha I love chocolates and I want to share with you one of my favorite brand (although lahat favorite ko haha! as shamefull as it may seem haha) So here it is, Milky Way Midnight Dark. I've been eating Milky Way for a long time and it is actually my first time to try it in Dark Chocolate.

Here's my verdict:

• I love the dark chocolate, it's not bitter and it has the right sweetness!
• Balance of the dark choco with the sweetness of the Golden Caramel.
• It is very chewy.
• Super Like!

Here's another Fashion post from my recent vacation trip. It was Universal Day and I already expected a super duper hot day with fun filled rides and activities. But unexpectedly the rain poured hard that morning so I was kinda worried with my outfit that day. I only brought cool and breezy outfits since I only expected hot temperature. But my gutts was telling me (malakas ang pakiramdam ko! haha) that the sun will strike hot come noon time and true enough it did (sabi ko sa inyo e, malakas pakiramdam ko! haha). 

When in theme parks, wear something comfortable and fashyon. We girls want to look our best even if we feel like being thrown in the air or go round and round! I wore a pair of shorts with light weight type of fabric that kept me cool while I am able to move freely. To add punk on my outfit I wore a very loose printed sleeveless top that is also very light weighted and paired it with a bandeau. This prevented me from feeling sweaty all day. Accessories should be kept minimal in this times and consider wearing your bff footwear. Bring a user friendly bag to goof around freely! Balance of fashyon, function and comfort equates to SMART FASHION.

Snoe Suntervention

You may already know that I just had a vacation last week. I was in a country with hot temperature same here as the Philippines. Of course a must item while I was packing was Snoe Suntervention Sunblock! I was so excited to be able to use Snoe Suntervention again which I already used last Holy Week. Along with my vaca buddies, we went to several places to have fun and enjoy. The sun was shining brightly and  it was time to test again Snoe Suntervention.

Here's my verdict:

• It has a nice smell that I really love. It's not stinky on the nose, just right given the heat of the sun.
• It is not sticky when applying.
• I also did not feel any sticky feeling while in the middle of my activities.
• I love the fact that it has SPF 80!!! 
• Over all, I like it! I even shared it with my gals so that they will also be protected by the sun's uva and uvb rays. 
• And of course, I want to say this again! A proudly pinoy product!

Sentosa Day

Well hello!!!

Hello blue shoes!

It was a super hot day during our Sentosa and City tour itinerary. I already know the activities for the day so I opted to wear something super comfortable and very breezy! Again, SMART FASHION! I wore a loose top (loose tops are very breezy) and matched it with a body hugging floral skirt (this balances the loose top where I can still move freely). This outfit is very comfortable yet very fashionable. I don't bring a lot of accessories when abroad cause I tend to leave things behind (boo!!!). To match my girly floral skirt, I used my Aranaz bracelet which I got early this year. To know more about it check my previous post. And to complete the look, I wore my new I Candy animal print eye wear. Yippee!!! I super love this, fashion and function in one!!! I also love to use super handy back pack that will make me hands free and take lots of pictures.

For me, I always pack light when going abroad, I always see to it to bring few foot wear that I can match with my other outfit. I also bring few and easy to wear accessories.
