Fierce

Yesterday was the DAY of one of my besties! And as I was thinking of what to wear, I want to wear something different where I wouldn't look heavy weight as I am on my quest to loose some inches and weight. I don't know why but animal prints are all over lately. This trend actually came out last year but as we entered 2013, more animal prints came out! So here I am wearing my latest animal print and it is screaming wrar! haha!

Since I really look young for my age, I am very lucky that it runs in the family! Thank You Lord for that! I just needed to buy some pieces where in I will look more mature when needed. So I think this dress would do the trick.

It's a knee high length dress with a little longer than 3/4 sleeves. It has a silky texture with a very nice cheetah or leopard print? (Is this cheetah or leopard, anyway let's just put it as animal print. haha). This give me an instant mature look but still not that over mature or matanda look.

Since the dress is already a statement, I kept my accessories very simple and few. I paired it with a pearl swarovski bracelet and a simple ring. To top it off, I used my recent classic necklace that my sister gave me on her latest trip with her hubby.

Lastly, a neutral colored bag with a little bling will give my look a little fun. My little black bag is the safest way to go on this very loud dress. The sparkling details gives it a different look plus I can either use it as a clutch or a sling bag! Plus it has enough space since I had 3 phones, a wallet, lipstick and house keys in it.

As you can see, this is actually a loose dress so to give myself some curves I wore a simple belt so as not to grab another attention. With the very loud dress, I didn't want to add another OA piece.

Look how thin I looked because of the dress separated by a belt partnered with pumps and a sling bag which gives an illusion of elongating my body. Nice right??

How do you find my fierce look? Let's bring fierceness in 2013!

2014 Chinese New Year Outfit

Here's what I wore last Chinese New Year. I just had a simple dinner with my family since I will be coming from work and will have to work again the next day.

It was a weekday so I will be coming from work. I need to have an outfit that will fit for work and for our family dinner. Another factor to consider is that I just commuted going to the office that day.

So I decided to wear a dress that is not too formal but also fit for work and of course in color red. It was said that ancient Chinese peeps wore red since the bad spirits are afraid of red plus it gives good luck. There's no harm in following the belief. :)

I like this dress since it has just the right length. It's not super short but long enough to be worn in the office.  I also like the smooth fabric that's very fit for smart casual events.

I just wore my blazer and my stocked heels when I was in the office. But after office I can just be casual with it and paired it with my ever reliable Yosi Samara flats.

Since I just commuted that day and I know I'll be pigging out again :), I wore minimal accessories. Just wore this classical heart shaped pendant ( I already forgot where I got this) and a simple watch.

Look at how cute the texture and the design of this dress. It's a balance of fierce and wholesome look. The touch of animal print and wide neck but young a line style. I actually wore it with a belt but due to the festivity I needed to remove it (mas mahalata yung fullness ko.. haha!)

Ms. Noriko Imura's K-Palette Work shop at Beauty Bar

As promised I will share with you all the techniques that I learned during Beauty Bar and K-Palette event last Saturday! This is worth to share for us girls to know how to apply eyebrow and eyeliners! Make up are made to enhance our looks and not to make us a different person! So here how it goes.......

Aisaku introduced us with the products that Ms. Noriko will use. In this workshop we focused on learning how to define the eyes! Diba nga it's all in the eyes, ika nga ni Tyra Banks ..... smile with your eyes! Fierce!

After prepping up the face (applying base make up) Ms. Noriko started concealing with Kuma Concealer! This made us (bloggers) more excited, we are really loving this concealer!!! As what I said on my previous post, Kuma concealer is not your ordinary concealer. It attends to the different needs of us girls! We have different flaws that we want to hide and that's what Kuma concealer will do! I will post everything about Kuma Concealer real soon, so stay tuned!

Look at our pretty model of the day! She already has flawless skin but of course nobody is perfect. You may see from the photos that Ms. Noriko concealed her under eye area to even out her skin tone.  Look at her right eye you can already see the difference! It's like magic!!! Amusing!!! Loving it even more!!! (By the way, this photo really does not justify, it's amusing when seen in personal) Ms. Noriko only used little amount of the product but it was enough to conceal nicely on our model's under eye!

Now it's time to learn the technique to have great brows! Yipee!!!! Ms. Noriko used their new product, the 2 way eyebrow kit. I was really excited to see how this work since I have full brows I don't really apply make up on it. I just have it groomed via threading.

Ms. Noriko first applied the powder to fill and create the brows. Afterwards she then used the liquid portion. The liquid portion has a very fine tip that when applied looks as if you created a real hair! Ang galing talaga!!! It looks so natural! It really doesn't look drawn. I'm looking forward to have this in my mu kit!

Again the pictures above does not really justify the real wonders of the product! But you can already see that it looks very natural! It is really amazing!!! I am looking forward to try this!

After enhancing the brows of our model, Ms. Noriko taught us how to know the right length of our brows! For a natural look, place a brush from the tip of the eye and tip of the lips. For a more define (party party look) extend it closer and place it at the tip of the nose. Brilliant right?? This guide will make us look FABULOUS!

Now every girl love eyeliners! It help us to have define and bigger eyes! This make up tool is really our best friend (for us with chinita or small eyes).

Ms. Noriko first taught us the natural look! And it was indeed natural.

To achieve the natural look, line the eyes from inside to out very thinly. But take note! Just right after arriving the center, slightly draw the line going up placing some gaps in between.

Does this look scary?? And Natural nga diba?? Will this look natural?? Keep on reading and find out the result.

Can you see the little space in between? And it really did look natural! Fabulous, right?? By the way, check out the brows, it looks natural right?? Some of the strokes are actually the K-Palette Eyebrow liquid from the 2-way K-Palette eyebrow kit.

Now going on lining below the eyes, Ms. Noriko lined from outward going inward and stopped in the middle. Of course, it will still depend on what you prefer. But for me, this works! It doesn't look harsh.

Looks so natural!!!
Now, Ms. Noriko will turn the natural look into a cat eye look! Oh wow! Me and fellow bloggers got even more excited!!!!!!

Do the same procedure just extend it longer and thicker!

The procedure changed when applying liner below the eyes for cat eye look. Ms. Noriko applied the liner on all the eyes from inside going out. When reaching near the end, she then extended the liner with out touching the end of the eye and the tip of the liner drawn from the above part of the eye.

To add more drama, Ms. Noriko placed falsies. She used portioned falsies and applied the outer eye first followed by the middle. Here's how it looked.

Ang bongga!
Ms. Noriko also shared with us the latest brow trend in Japan, it's somehow the same with our trend her in the Philippines. Having super thin and shaved brows then drawn are out! Thick and well groomed brows are so in! They call it mature but cute look.

Not only that, Ms. Noriko also taught us what we should do to relax our eyes and massage it to prevent having lines and eye bags. This exercise won't guarantee but will surely relax our eyes! Try it now!

Using the lightest finger (ring finger), slightly tap inside of the eyes slowly go down the under eye then going up in a circular motion.

By the way, I was with a great crowd of fellow bloggers and asked Ms. Noriko to show us how to apply the natural look for chinita eyes! I really paid attention to this because I have the same case with Michelle. The trick to this is just to thicken the line. That's the natural look for us small eyes. I will definitely try this and  I hope to share it with you. Practice muna ako! :)

So here's the final look! Loving it!! Ang galing talaga niya!!! Expert!

She looked stunning right?? By the way, after some time I noticed that the concealer did not cake on her. Loving the concealer talga to the highest level! Hope that you enjoyed reading as much as I enjoyed sharing this experience with you.
