Snoe Shoo Zit

To those who follow my blog (thanks to my family and friends!! haha)... you may all know that I am like a teenager right now having breakouts due to stress. I was not this oily during my younger years. Yes I am a late bloomer in terms of skin problems, so I need to constantly buy acne creams to help me fight them! I was about to buy my acne cream when I found out that it was already phased out! Oh no! Panic mode!!!!! And just in time talaga! Super timing, as I was waiting for this..... Snoe now launched their latest product (new skin care line) that is for acne prone skin while I was on my panic mode! Savior!!! 

What I like about the product is that it's in gel type! Another thing about it is that it not only treat or fight acne but also helps to brighten blemishes!

Another great thing (puro great thing ah!!) it is very affordable at 399 pesos only at 50ml! Wow great deal!

Since it's in a pump up tube, it's easy to get the product and helps me maintain hygiene. It's also easy to control how much product I want to get. 

My Verdict:

• I like it! It doesn't dry up my face and the part with blemishes. 
• It helps me smallen breakouts.
• It really lightens blemishes (but take note, this is not a magic product! you need to constantly apply it to attain desired result).
• It has a lot of product!
• Very affordable!
• I love it's cute trendy, girly and funky packaging.
• Over all, I will definitely buy this again! Mind you, I am not adventurous in buying different products and brands for break out problems. I am happy that I am hiyang with Snoe Shoo Zit!
• Another proudly Pinoy product.

Herbal Essences

It's been a while since I changed my hair style and soon I will change it. But since I will attend a very special occasion soon, I decided to retain my long black hair the way it is for the moment. But I feel bored about it and was looking for how to give my hair more life and happiness, just in time I saw this Herbal Essences conditioner. So with out any hesitation I decided to get it but had a hard time choosing what variant to buy! And finally I decided to get the Long Term Relationship variant since I need more of conditioning with this long hair. 

They have different variants which I already can not recall, but I also got the Herbal Essences Color Me Happy variant for my sister. What's great about Herbal Essence is their packaging! It's very eye catching and very cute! It's very girly where you can really feel that you want to make your hair be better! Look at the name of their variants are also very creative! They really gave each variants their "personality" which will also match the different personalities of us girls.

Oh great! It's 40% more! Yehey!!

My Verdict:

• It is very creamy and conditioning!
• My hair instantly became soft and smooth!
• It has a great soft cute smell that is just right. (You may notice from my posts that I am not fund of strong smells)
• Instant easy to comb hair.
• It instantly removed my frizzy hair look and feeling.
• The best about it is that it maintain the softness until the next few days (unlike other conditioners that works for one day only)
• I will definitely by this again! Maybe would like to try their other variants. One great product for a daily use.

Of course it only does conditioning and not straightening.

Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion

I've known Laneige since it's arrival here in the Philippines specially that their endorser is Song Hye Kyo. For me, Laneige is a more premium brand of Korean cosmetics but wait, don't be scared with the word premium. I tell you their products are more premium but still affordable. It's really what you call VALUE for money. And now as I was blog hopping I saw Laneige latest contest via Lucky Citrine! Yippee, since I wanted to try Laneige, this is great! This will be my chance to try and experience Laneige. Here's what I got, Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion.  I love BB Cream so this product is something that I will use! Love it!! 

Since this is a promotion, I like it that they gave out No. 21 Natural Beige. The color is safe enough for different skin colors. I don't know the how the ml/g of this product though it's relatively small but mind you it's already generous amount for a free item! The packaging is so cute! Very Laneige, simple tube with a light blue color. Look at the box! It's so sophisticated! Yes, very Laneige!

Look at the small cute sponge that, you can see that it's very personalized meaning. They really took time to produce this cutie patutie tiny sponge.

I like that they considered hygiene for they placed a plastic in between the sponge and the product.

You may see from the swatch above that it looks light! It looks a little scary because most of the pinays are morenas so we might turn into Geishas. But let us continue, blend it and check out how will it turn out.

Surprisingly when blended, it blended well on the color of my hands. It's like magic and it's easy to blend.

What I like about the product:

• Very easy to blend
• High SPF content (SPF 50)
• It has a nice perfumy smell but not strong that can be irritating
• It has a smooth finish, like I wore a moisturizer or primer
• It's not that oily on the face, I didn't even wear a powder on it (but it's recommended to wear powder above bb creams or liquid foundations)
• A little product goes a long way

What I wish for the product:

• I am not a fan of sponge (most of the time sponges sips the products)

I would definitely consider to buy this product!

Shu Uemura Blush

It's the second month of Ber and it's my birth month! To start of no... I am not having any give aways (hindi pa kaya ng powers ko! haha) But another quick post about Shu Uemura Blush, actually I don't know what code is this but here it goes......

Shu Uemura is highly known for their Lashes but I think they are very popular because of all their products! 

On the looks of it, it looks very pigmented and dark. So let's see the swatch below.....

And yes indeed!! It is very pigmented, where by the way I only placed a little of the product. Little goes a long way. Now, let's see how will it look when blended.

When blended, it really looked good! You can really see that it has of good quality! You get what you paid for!

What I think about the product:

• Though this may not be the right shade for me! It will look very bright on me.
• It is very pigmented and will go a long way.
• Easy to blend even if it is in powder form (no primers needed).

When it seems that us girls got the wrong shade of blush (biglang nagiba when at home! Oh No! Disaster!)  It may be because of the lightning at the malls or you just thought that it was the color you like or right for you, no matter what is the reason, don't panic! It's a blush girl you can use it everyday! On this kind of disaster, just dab a little product first then just build it up in accordance to the desired look. Blend blend blend! Blending is the key! Blend the product properly and you are sure to go! No problem about the product put to waste.

Who would know that I am using a blush shade that is actually not for my skin tone!

Durian Yema and Durian Polvoron

A very quick post for today. Another Philippine find that I got on my trip to Gensan. Since it is near Davao there were several Durian delicacies for pasalubong items. And here's what I got, Durian yema and Durian Polvoron. I hope to try the Durian coffee next time, but I need to go to Davao first.

What I think about Durian Delicacies:

• Both really taste like real Durian
• It's sweet but still manageable
• I Love the yema! Really balance of yema and durian taste! It is a bomb!
• Polvoron was ok but it's not intact together, when opened it turns to powder
• Smelled like Durian but not that strong to make the whole room smelly

Shamrock Baked Polvoron

Here's another pasalubong corner or pinoy finds here in the Philippines. Now let's go to Cebu, Shamrock is a well known brand for Otap. So to look for a different Cebu find besides Mango and Lechon I was happy to see this! I love polvoron so I bought it  at once! It was like, it was meant for me to buy this. I was in Cebu very quick (I mean literally quick, for about 9 hours or less!) So there's really no time again to look around and get something to bring back to Manila. Then I suddenly saw this and found out that it's the last piece. Enough about my story let's go back to Shamrock Baked Polvoron.

It actually didn't taste like the usual polvorn, it's texture is more of a cookie rather than the powdery that melts in the mouth. It's kinda messy to eat but to offset all these, it tasted good. It's creamy and not too sweet. It's a great snack. I was just expecting it to be the same polvorn that I was used to. Never the less I will buy this again because of the taste! It makes you want to eat more after the first bite.
