Sun Shine and Rain

The weather is so tricky now a days! Before I went out of the house, it was raining hard but it still feels hot and super summery. I opted to wear something breezy and comfortable on a Sunday sun shining hot and rainy day. I really don't know what to wear since I am very conscious of the weather, it rained but the sun seems to shine again. I finally decided to wear a breezy top since it was still super hot. I paired it with leggings just to be sure that if it rains again I won't look too summery. haha!

The look is  very casual and relaxed so I wore a sliver classy necklace to have a little contrast. As you can see again! :) I am wearing my Jade bracelet so I always need to pair my accessories with it. Surprisingly, I am not having a hard time pairing it with different types of accessories. Jade bracelet is very versatile! haha (Am I convincing myself?? haha) But seriously, I can pair it with different kind of accessories, for this look I paired it with sporty look accessories. Sporty and classy accessories do look good together.

Look at my baller bracelet! There's my name embossed! Cool, Right????
The baller also has different inspirational words. Cute!
By the way, this is given to me by my nephew.

It has Chinese characters, it's for luck.

To make my look more fun, I matched my sporty classy look with a leather satchel in a dashing purple color. Don't be afraid of colors, have fun with it! :) For people who are afraid of colors, choose a darker shade instead of the bright ones. Dark shades of colors (may it be an accessory, bag, shoes or even tops) is best for people with neutral shades of wardrobe.

If you will notice I am a flats person. I  really am having a hard time wearing heels. Fashion blogs did not always mean that I should always be in high heels. There are so many cute flats available in the market and  of course in different styles and colors. So for me, idadaan ko sa color! haha!!

Magnum

Magnum craze is really all over the metro! Of course, I won't let it pass by not experiencing the craze (hindi ako magpapahuli)! haha So here's my back log experience about Magnum! hehe

Here in the Philippines, Magnum is available in 3 flavors (Classic, Almond and Truffle). Upon learning about Magnum, I immediately researched where can I get one. At first, it was really hard to look for this awesome product since it was always sold out! Gosh! (This will be the best example for the word of mouth campagin.) But lately, you will be able to search for this product easily except for the Truffle flavor.

I got both Classic and Almond flavors (haha! I shared it naman noh hehe)
Let's start with Classic flavor:

  • The chocolate coating is very tasty! It really taste as a real chocolate and not your ordinary sweet tasting dips.
  • The Vanilla ice cream inside has a marshmallow like texture and it is really good! As in good! haha It is not too sweet! Just right sweetness.

Almond flavor:
(Just want to share with you, I am not fund of nuts in ice cream and chocolates)

  • The almond is placed in the chocolate dip. It is Almond Caramel coating, it is not hard even with the presence of the Almond. Surprisingly, I liked it!
  • The ice cream inside is the same with Classic, it's vanilla flavor.
  • Good blending of vanilla ice cream and almond caramel coating. Surprisingly! This is really good! I prefer this flavor than the classic! Like Like Like!!!
Each cost Php 50.00 in your leading supermarkets!
P.S. Where can I get Truffle flavor?

Share me your Magnum experience too. :)

Mochiko Mochi Ice Cream

If you've been following my blog, you all know that I LOVE mochi ice cream! I've been dying to try Mochiko... Finally! Yesterday I got to try it. They offer several flavors and I opted to get green tea.

Here's my experience:
  • The size is big!! As in! for a mochi ice cream.
  • The ice cream has a light green tea taste.
  • Green Tea ice cream is wrapped by the mochi. So there's a thick mochi at the bottom.
  • Costs Php 70.

My verdict: I like it, the ice cream is not too sweet and has the light green tea taste. Mochiko has generous amount of ice cream! Like Like Like! The price is just right for the big size.

Do check out Awesome Kingling's blog about Mochika milk tea flavor!

Dove Damage Therapy Soft and Silky

If you have been following my blog, you will know that I have just been convinced by Dove to purchase their product (click the link to know my first Dove Hair Therapy experience.)

Dove Hair Therapy is avialable in different variants and I am not here to discuss them one by one but to share my experience with you.

I got the Straight and Silky variant, I used this just right after the day I used Lorys Hair Treatment. It really was a good combo! It made my hair soft and silky. But not as straight as people might expect.

To be fair, I again used Lorys Hair Treatment the week after and paired it with another shampoo for better evaluation. Although my hair is still soft, it is not as soft when I used Dove Straight and Silky variant. For now! Dove Hair Therapy is really a good shampoo. It did made a difference with my hair and I was happy with the result. It made my hair more soft and less frizzy. I would definitely get another bottle.

I got another bottle and it really work as it promise. My hair is feels smooth and soft, I also notice less tangles. Over all, this is really worth and it a must have product.

Disclaimer: Bought the items myself.

"Edgy" Black

I've been MIA since I was busy with work, working sleepless nights for the past 2 days for our company's annual National Convention. I am not complaining about it, I am grateful to have my work! And as part of the program, I including my colleagues have prepared a "Level Up" presentation! With this, we have decided to wear "Edgy" Black attire to match our presentation (Teka: ano ba meaning ng "Edgy" Black???).

As a fashion acclaimed blogger (starter haha!!) Syempre I want to look "Edgy" but I must consider the following:
  1.  It is a company event, dapat formal formalan ng konte.
  2. We were required to wear a company polo shirt thus I will only wear black during my presentation (So convenience to change is a must!).
  3. I need to somehow look formal, fun and of course fashionable (in representation of the brand that I am handling).
  4. Hotel Venue.
So here's my interpretation of "Edgy" Black given the considerations above.

I opted to wear trousers and disregarded my initial plan to wear a dress (remember convenience should also be part of fashion, that's what I call Smart Fashion! haha) I finally decided to wear a cute top that could somehow look formal.

Can you see the ruffled sleeves of my top!
Cute!

I also wore sophisticated accessories that would blend in with my look (considered audience might get distracted if I wore eye catchy accessories while presenting). That would be a total no no!!

I also wore a black belt to cover the cut in between the blouse and the trousers. This is to form continuity and of course to give me more shape and look sexy haha!! (pagbigyan niyo na ako! hehe)

See the ribbon prints from my blouse.

I wore jeweled like bracelets on my right hand, which coincidentally matched with the theme of my presentation! haha And of course my Jade bracelet. The Jade would always be a part of my fashion blog since I am wearing this everyday. (Mahirap kaya tangalin! hehe)

This is actually a candid shot. haha

Cute curve details!

Since I will be walking around, I wore a comfy black shoes that is of course fashionable! You can't see in the picture, but this adorable pair has an inch heels.

*I'm very sorry for the dark unclear photos. I used my Itouch in taking the pictures because it will be to hassle for me to bring along a camera since I have my phones inside my pockets too. (Boo! I left my small pouch that would serve as my gadget holder to help me that day!)

Do I look like a sleepless gal ba??? Nah! Concealed my eye bags and blemishes, applied eyeliner and mascara. Subtle blush and red lips. Sayang hindi kita sa picture. Stay tuned! I will try to post the look if I am able to grab a close up picture from Colleagues.

(Bangkok blouse, Wisdom trouser, Tiffany & Co. necklace, Jeweled like bracelets (right) c/o mom, black belt, Melissa footwear)

P.S. Thanks to my office mate who helped me take pictures that day!

Serenitea Jumbo Cup

Finally, Serenitea is now open at Greenbelt 3! Today, 030412 is their Grand Opening thus they offer Serenitea Jumbo Cup! From what I know, they only offer this during grand opening or anniversary.  As a Fil-Chi I'm really a fan of milk teas and Serenitea is one of the known brands here in the Philippines. So here's my Serenitea Jumbo Cup experience. :)

I've tried Serenitea for several times already but it is my first time to drink Serenitea Jumbo Cup (excited much haha!!!)

Stacked Up cups! Large and Jumbo cups.

It's time to get our drink!

When they say Jumbo, they really mean JUMBO! It is really BIG! haha We got Hokkaido flavor, since Assam is not included in their top picks for Serenitea Jumbo Cup. We have it in less sweet but for me it is still sweet for my taste. But no problem with this, they offer different sugar levels according to customer's taste.

It's as tall as our hands!!!

Used two hands to measure the diameter for this Jumbo Cup.

A great thing about Serenitea Jumbo Cup, it is priced the same with their large size. For Hokkaido Jumbo Cup, this is priced at Php 105.00 only! Not bad right! Like like like!!!

P.S. Do check out Awesome Kingling blog and watch out for his battle of the milk tea review!

Bon Chon Chicken

It's March already! 2012 is really fast! My first post for the 3rd month of the year.

We Filipinos really love to eat chicken. No matter how it is cooked ...... fry, adobo, curry, buffalo style, tinola (soup) etc. Chicken never fails to satisfy our taste buds! One of the best chicken in town is Bon Chon Chicken (Bon Chon Chicken we met again!! haha)

Presenting! Bon Chon Chicken!!!!

This is very affordable! Only Php 145.00 for 2 pieces chicken with rice and drink.

What's great about Bon Chon Chicken is that it is available in 2 flavors. Spicy and Soy Garlic (for those who don't like spicy food).

I got the spicy one and I tell you I really love it!!! :) The skin is really crispy and flavorful. It has the right spiciness (not too spicy that make you want to stop eating it) with a little sweetness. But this great flavor did not reach the meat of the chicken, on the positive note it is juicy and soft. Still great chicken!!!

This ice tea is not your ordinary ice tea, it has a lemon like taste that is not too sweet. Best paired with the spicy chicken.
