Dolled Up

A very quick post today. You seldom see me posts my dressed / dolled up outfit. Here's what I wore during my friends wedding last April. It was very intimate, it was actually long gown event and the busy me didn't had the time to got myself an outfit so I decided to wear this already. Though it's short dress but it has this very nice texture and style in front plus the one side and one long sleeve made it look classy but with an attitude. So wore my ever reliable high heels to make my look somehow formal and wore a pearl bracelet to cap it off.

What do you think?

Wrap Me Up

It's July already we are on the second half of the year! Time is too fast!!  On my quest to look a little more mature to look my age here' my latest ootn last Saturday. It was then a very hot day though there were a few drops of rain. So I decided to wear something comfortable and also I won't get cold. Though I wore a sleeveless I also have a tank top inside so I have several layers to keep me warm. Wearing polos make the look more mature but here's a twist to the usual polo. Why not have it in a different design same as this wrap around polo like top. Partnered it with (I super love) this pants that is fitted but very comfy. This is actually a high waisted pants and I got it in three colors. I'm trying to wear something more neutral but with a twist since my pants is actually color blue. Lastly, wore a few accessories since I find it more classy. This is a combination of neutral with a twist look, even my footwear matched with my overall look.

Etude AC Clinic Daily

Hi guys! You may already know that I do experience break outs even if I am pass my teenage years already! I really want to fix this so I finally decided to get a full range of facial care that is specially medicated for Acne prone skin. I decided to get something that is not too expensive but also not cheap. Here's my experience with Etude AC Clinic Daily line, I got their 3 products (facial cleanser, toner and moisturizer). They still have several products to help minimize acne, but I decided to get these first. I wanted something that will help me minimize breakouts first.

I already bought this before I found out that they have another facial wash from AC Clinic Line that is stronger. This is a foam wash:
  • You only need a soft pump and get a few amount of the product
  • Felt a squeaky clean feeling
  • Feels so light on the skin
  • Has a soft smell too which I do appreciate
  • Sealed with plastic

I got a lot of product for this post :)

Now let's move on to the toner which is always the second step after facial wash.
  • Like the foam wash, only need a few products to clean the face
  • It has a light distinct smell (I can describe it same as those of the after shave but so much lighter)
  • Has the right opening to get the product (product doesn't come out too much)
  • With seal which I really prefer
  • Clear in color
  • Doesn't have stingy feeling even if it's AC line
  • Feels clean on the face

Last for this post is the Gel Lotion, this is actually their moisturizer.
  • Has the same smell with the toner
  • Also sealed
  • Also needs a few amount for the whole face
  • Light on the face
  • Thick but not super thick
  • Can be easily spread on the face
  • Not sticky

I started using last March 29 and up to now I still have not yet finished all three products. Using it daily so it's basically sulit! But I will be able to finish faster the toner then the facial wash. The moisturizer will last longer.

What I noticed happened to my skin while using this product:
  • After a month of using, I noticed that I experienced more break out, continuous break out
  • But after around 1 and 1/2 month to 2 months, lesser break out
  • My face is not that oily anymore, don't notice shine on my face during afternoons
  • My face didn't dried up even if these are for acne prone skin
  • I still experience break outs but not as much already (this is also partnered that I try to sleep early as much as I can)
Overall, I think this is a good product for acne prone skin. It is value for money as it can last pretty long. It's also light on the face and no other side effects.

I would want to continue using these products. I would also want to try their spot or acne treatment.

What do you think?

Into the greens

It was a busy weekend again as I was from one place to another. I made sure to wear something comfortable and breezy but will also cover me up when it's cold. The weather is somehow breezy but still very hot during noon. This time, I wanted to wear something relax so I didn't consciously tried to look mature this time but then again not to look younger than my age too.

This top balanced my mature (checkered polo) and young (pink) look. Plus it's very lightweight so it's very breezy. But it has enough cover up for me not to get cold when it gets dark. Made my look very fresh and matched it with a light colored jeans and bright colored accessories. Lastly, to tone the color down a little bit, wore a little neutral colored footwear but with print to match my top.

I really love wearing comfortable clothes but still with that attitude. It need not be boring by having colors and or nice prints.

Baby OOTD - Chinese New Year 2015

A different ootd! :) Hi there, this is my baby niece the youngest baby fashion poser?? haha I just thought that I would like to feature her for baby posts. Kids should be thought fashion early in their life.. haha! Kidding aside, it's nice if we make Philippines a fashionable country (but that need not be all that glitz and glam).

Here's what she wore during our family CNY dinner get together. Of course she should also wear red! Since it's not practical to buy a lot of items for babies since they grow fast.. You should buy them in big sizes so they can wear it more times. Like this red dress of this baby girl, since it's still big an inner wear is the answer plus she won't get cold also.  Dress are easier so as when changing of diapers. To make her kikay, she has her headband that's also in red! Lastly, to have a little contrast made her wear this cute blue socks with pompoms! The pompoms gave that cute quirky vibe.

P.S. Styled by my sister and me. :)

Chinese New Year Outfit 2015

A very quick post for today! I am glad that I am back home this CNY 2015! I totally got busted with my work schedule that I thought I would miss our annual CNY family dinner. Thank God every thing fall into place. :) I am terribly tired this week with an out of town work plus we decided to dine out somewhere near our place this year. I also considered to wear something comfortable since I would have to battle with buffet again! haha With these things, I wasn't in the mood to dress up but I would still want to look presentable plus I should wear RED! haha A dress is the way to go! This full dress answered all my considerations of RED, Comfortable, Spacey and Presentable! Made my look more quirky and fun by wearing accessories that are trendy like these white shoes that I got from Taiwan, a small colored sling bag and just a bright colored watch. Using nice pieces and combining them all together made my look very relaxed and simple yet fun and quirky!

Happy year of the Lamb! 2015 please be good to me and shower me with all the Luck! :) Kong Xi Fa Cai! Kong Hei Fat Choi! Happy New Year!
