Wrap Me Up

It's July already we are on the second half of the year! Time is too fast!!  On my quest to look a little more mature to look my age here' my latest ootn last Saturday. It was then a very hot day though there were a few drops of rain. So I decided to wear something comfortable and also I won't get cold. Though I wore a sleeveless I also have a tank top inside so I have several layers to keep me warm. Wearing polos make the look more mature but here's a twist to the usual polo. Why not have it in a different design same as this wrap around polo like top. Partnered it with (I super love) this pants that is fitted but very comfy. This is actually a high waisted pants and I got it in three colors. I'm trying to wear something more neutral but with a twist since my pants is actually color blue. Lastly, wore a few accessories since I find it more classy. This is a combination of neutral with a twist look, even my footwear matched with my overall look.

Attempt to look Mature

Hi guys! Another late post for me.. Took this on one of my dinner during the past Holiday Season with mi familia. Hayayay! Had buffet for this ootn and of course made sure that I will wear something comfortable and will give my tummy enough space to breathe. haha You may notice that this another outfit that I am trying to look a little mature but not old. Button down tops are the way to go to look more mature but pairing it with printed pants will keep me from looking manang. I only want to look a little mature and not manang. haha

I actually love this pants! It's stretchable and super comfortable. I can wear it casually or even in the office.

Again! I am very into sling bags right now and used this new sling bag that one of my officemate gave me last Holiday Season. This is actually just right for my attempt to look more mature. I also like it that it can hold several things in it.

Though it's cold season, I still find myself wearing minimal accessories and more of classic and or textured accessories like this classic watch and bangle.

Lastly, since it was Christmas season I wanted to feel and wore a sparkle ballet flat shoes. I hope that I was able to post this during the Holiday Season and greeted you Merry Christmas!

Black and White

In a few weeks time it's Holiday Season again! So we need to make the most out of 2014. I've been trying to put more ootd post and I hope you are all enjoying. hehe! Though it's raining and it's Ber season already it became hot again. I don't know what's wrong with the weather so here I am wearing something breezy as if it is summer!

With the hot weather I opted to wear something with very thin fabrics and in white. If I get plain tops I try to make sure that it has a little something to make it more interesting like this white top that is V at the back. A little low but not too low. These shorts are very comfortable but a little too short than the normal. :) But I love that it is gartered and with belt like cut to hide my tummy. I really wear minimal accessories lately and just prefer classical pieces like a pearl necklace and this black and white pearl bangles. To complete my relax look, wore my boat shoes and neutral tone bag to maintain the feel of my  black and white outfit. I think it's best to just stay with in the neutral tone for a clean and crisp look.

Sailor Inspired Outfit

Last Saturday I attended an event as we sponsored it at work. It was held at Fun Ranch and the sound of the place..... it surely would be a kiddie party. It's was a Halloween Party of the Mommy bloggers  and oh boy there were lots of kids! So I thought of wearing something fresh, young and fun look! Nakikibagay sa mga kids! :)

I opted something not too fancy and then I remembered I have this pleated skirt that I can pair with a simple white top. Lately, I want to get items that are statement pieces by itself already (though this skirt is with me for several years already hehe). That's the benefit of getting statement pieces, you can use it several time, in many ways and for a long time (as long as it is in good condition).

To keep the look fresh, I wore minimal accessories, just a bracelet (a statement piece too) and a watch (I need to replace the batteries of my other watches, I keep on using this watch only! Argghhh! hehe)

Finally used this violet satchel bag to keep that youthful vibe and neutral colored footwear for that fresh look. And then while doing this post that I notice that I look like I'm in a sailor costume! haha

Jumpsuit Shorts

Another family gathering. It was M's birthday and this year we decided to eat all together and bond. And since we are going to pig out again. I did made sure to wear something comfortable and spacey so that I won't look bloated after eating. :) And I remembered I have this jumpsuit shorts! So yes, it was my ootn.

Yes, you may wonder why am I not wearing red? It was ok since we celebrated not on the actual day. We just had take out during the actual birth date of M. 

I love that it is a balance of wholesome and a little sexy since it's a little shorter than the normal shorts. Sexy need not be showing too much skin, a little here and there is enough.

I also love the details of the jumpsuit, it can really speak for itself no need for extra introduction nor too much accessories. By the way the fabric is so breezy to the body and also doesn't wrinkle easily. Since the neckline is too low for me, I would always wear a tank top inside it. I decided to wear something with a little lace for that additional sexy look. But again since it's in black it's not very catchy.

One last thing, it has cut on the waist portion so it still shows the shape of my body even if it is a jumpsuit.

Again, decided to wear minimal accessories, I wore again this bangle that I think matched very well with the jumpsuit. The details of both the jumpsuit and bangle complemented with each other. But since they are in opposite colors both popped out and the bangle didn't blend into the jumpsuit.

Lastly, to add some sophistication on my look. Decided to wear this gold clear flats that I think pumped up my look and made it even more edgy. Stylish and fun footwear need not always be in heels. I love flats!

Sorry for my feet, there are reddish portion since I think it got sensitive to a shoe that I wore and I can't remember which one it was.

Finally still went with this cute sling bag, I can't always use this since it's small. I can only use this on such occasions and I love that it gave my look a nice color giving it a fun look. 

Oh I need to do some diet again! I hope you still find my photos pleasing to your eyes. :)

High Waisted Skort

We should already be done with Holiday Season and make our selves ready to go back to work. Most of us had been back to work but for me I'll be back to work on Monday. But my outfit is so not yet over with New Year as I wore some polka dots. haha 

For 2014, I would like to make my style more mature and less of the casual outfits. But I have more casual outfits so I think I'll wear more casual fab this year. But that's not a promise yet ah. Let's see how it goes. :)

I was supposed to wear a high waisted polka dot skirt but oh no ipit ang bilbil! hehe So I changed and opted to wear this high waisted polka dot skirt instead. And boy I was glad that I wore this and I was happy with it. Paired it with a plain top but with nice textures that makes it more fab than a regular plain shirt. I actually love this shirt too even if it's not tucked in. I also love this skort as it gives me a girly look but is very comfortable. Since it's in dark color, it still hids my bilbil even if it's high waisted (high waist bottoms are mostly suitable for those who don't have excess tummy) plus the length! This is the length that I want in shorts or mini skirts as it gives me an illusion of thin thighs.

I was in the mood to wear a few accessories for today and I actually just grabbed them with out thinking if it will match my outfit. I was already in a hurry to go so I just grabbed 2 items and I got these 2 sophisticated accessories that matched very well with each other. They are both very femininely baby pink with gold accents.

I also wore a slim belt to finalize the look to hide the imperfectness of the fringes of my tucked in outfit. It doesn't really hide it literally but more of layering for a clean look. 

Lastly, wore this braided footwear again and used my over sized bag to complete my casual fab look. I think that it will complement my first attempt of a more mature and feminine look for 2014. haha But you all know that I don't have one specific type of look. :)
