Casual Two Toned Dress

Yippeee! I forgot to tell you that I already got my laptop after another repair! Yehey I will be able to post all my back logs!

Here's another back log that I haven't been able to post. Again, it's better late than never. :)

As promised, I feel like wearing more casual fab this year and here's what I wore on a steady Sunday.

This is actually a dress that me and my friends got during our trip to Thailand. It's so affordable so we got it in different designs and colors. The style, length and cloth is very friendly plus it doesn't fail the fashyon portion.

What I like about this type of dress is that I don't need to mix and match anymore. So when I don't know what to wear this type of dress is one of my alternatives.

Another thing that I like to this kind of dress is that it's great for traveling! Very light and small to bring, it saves me more space for shopping (joke haha) and the hassle of thinking what to mix and match. I am guilty that there were times when I brought outfits that I think are good together but when worn, it looks off. So I need to do an instant mix and match with what I only have with me at that time. But with this kind of dress, I am assured.

When wearing a dress, at times I wear a belt to give me some shape. Since the dress in with dark colors, I opted to cut it with this bright colored belt in red.

Wore these somehow bohemian look of accessories to balance my girly / lady look. :) This treasured long necklace matched with my charm bracelet.

Lastly, to give some contrast on my total look finalized the look with a neutral colored footwear.

Here's my blooper pic for this post, my hair is distorted because of the light at the back. hehe

Fierce

Yesterday was the DAY of one of my besties! And as I was thinking of what to wear, I want to wear something different where I wouldn't look heavy weight as I am on my quest to loose some inches and weight. I don't know why but animal prints are all over lately. This trend actually came out last year but as we entered 2013, more animal prints came out! So here I am wearing my latest animal print and it is screaming wrar! haha!

Since I really look young for my age, I am very lucky that it runs in the family! Thank You Lord for that! I just needed to buy some pieces where in I will look more mature when needed. So I think this dress would do the trick.

It's a knee high length dress with a little longer than 3/4 sleeves. It has a silky texture with a very nice cheetah or leopard print? (Is this cheetah or leopard, anyway let's just put it as animal print. haha). This give me an instant mature look but still not that over mature or matanda look.

Since the dress is already a statement, I kept my accessories very simple and few. I paired it with a pearl swarovski bracelet and a simple ring. To top it off, I used my recent classic necklace that my sister gave me on her latest trip with her hubby.

Lastly, a neutral colored bag with a little bling will give my look a little fun. My little black bag is the safest way to go on this very loud dress. The sparkling details gives it a different look plus I can either use it as a clutch or a sling bag! Plus it has enough space since I had 3 phones, a wallet, lipstick and house keys in it.

As you can see, this is actually a loose dress so to give myself some curves I wore a simple belt so as not to grab another attention. With the very loud dress, I didn't want to add another OA piece.

Look how thin I looked because of the dress separated by a belt partnered with pumps and a sling bag which gives an illusion of elongating my body. Nice right??

How do you find my fierce look? Let's bring fierceness in 2013!

Fei Yue

Being a FilChi, we are very used to wearing red during birthdays and I realize that I don't have enough red outfitey na! So here's what I wore during my dad's birthday. My first inspiration was... I already want to use my new Fei Yue shoes which my sister got for me from Shanghai. I also needed to wear something comfortable since I will still have to go to work. So I finally decided to wear a casual and relax look.

I started with my candy colored Fei Yue sneakers and matched it with a polo shirt.

To make my look a little classy, I opted to wear a more sophisticated accessories like this leather StyleCo. and Charriol accesories plus a leather like light blue belt to complement my candy colored Fei Yue. This is the trick when you want to break a super casual look.
