Cute socks with BSX

 A very quick post for today, I got this cute socks from BSX. I got hooked to it because of it's very cute color so I bought it at once! Just in time, I needed to buy new socks for my fitness this 2014! haha Outfits can give us inspiration for us hitting our fitness lifestyle. But on the other hand, my socks always gets lost every after laundry. I think my socks gets mixed up with the socks of my nephew and niece. Most of the time they use basic colors only specially for my nephew (he only wants black or white socks) and of course for my niece who's still going to school. The socks that doesn't get mixed up are the colored ones! 

So yes! I have thought of buying colored socks so that we will all know that it's mine haha! (excuse ba for using colors again??) hehe 

I like that this socks has a lot of personality! I love the color and of course the texture. It's very soft on my feet and fits me perfectly. Comfort and fashion in one. Yippe.... Since it's a sockeven if it is in loud colors, it will be in a small part of your total look thus it won't hurt you to add colors via socks.

So if you have the same problem as mine, get yourselves colored socks if your lifestyle will allow it. :)

Clean and Clear: Clear Fairness Moisturizer SPF 30

How's your January so far?? I can feel a lot of positive vibes with a lot of people for this year! :) 

Discovered a different way of protecting the skin from the sun with this Clean & Clear Moisturizer with SPF. In this new age we have a lot of things to and want to do thus we are always catching time! With this crazy schedule of ours, we need products that will save us time but could also match our needs. Like this day moisturizer with SPF already.

Since I do wear make up everyday (though very minimal mu only), I don't want to pile up several products on my face thus I am very fund of using bb creams. But if you remember I do also have regular foundations and thinking about it I need to put moisturizer and sunblock separately. I find it very hassle and I will be needing extra time for it that I have to wait for the moisturizer then the sunblock to set on my face. Arg! Instead of waiting for that, I would want to have extra minutes of sleep. hehehe

But hey! Here's a great moisturizer with SPF already that can go with your regular foundation! This will save your time in applying a lot of products on your face.

I love that this product is an oil free product which is good for my oily skin. It's really a bit hard for me to buy sunblock, I make sure for it to be oil free, desirable fragrance and of course skin friendly. Another great thing about this product is that it contains "vitamin rich cherry extract formula" that will help reveal naturally pinkish fair skin. It also has rice extract oil that acts as absorbing system and helps control oil.

You can't actually see in the photo but it is actually a little pinkish, more of pinkish to white but more on white.

 Now time to blend it on my skin and let's see if it will leave a pinkish look.

It actually leaves a little pinkish look my skin but it's not noticeable. It's more of it gave my skin a healthy fresh look.

You can see that it instantly made my skin look a little pinkish but not that noticeable. More of a healthy looking skin. Upon waiting for a few second, it sets nicely on the face with out leaving white streak marks on my face.

What I think about the product:

• It has a very light cherry smell.Remember I don't like the smell of cherry but this not super cherry it's more of light lotion smell so it's fine for me
• I love that it's a 2 in 1 product, moisturizer with SPF
• It has high SPF content of 30, LIKE!
• It's not oily and sticky on the skin upon applying 
• Wasn't oily and sticky the whole day
• Light weight
• I appreciate the pinkish effect that it gives but it is not that noticeable, Love this!
• Doesn't even leave white streaks all over my bare face
• Affordable at 120 pesos per tube
• Available at leading supermarkets
• I appreciate the packaging of simple and cute - very Clean & Clear look
• Clean & Clear is a known and trusted brands for skin care

Tip: Thinking about it I would have to apply 2 products on my face again (regular foundation and Clean & Clear Fairness Moisturizer SPF 30). To lessen hassle and save time it's ok to combine the 2 products together and voila! You will now apply only 1 product on your skin!

High Waisted Skort

We should already be done with Holiday Season and make our selves ready to go back to work. Most of us had been back to work but for me I'll be back to work on Monday. But my outfit is so not yet over with New Year as I wore some polka dots. haha 

For 2014, I would like to make my style more mature and less of the casual outfits. But I have more casual outfits so I think I'll wear more casual fab this year. But that's not a promise yet ah. Let's see how it goes. :)

I was supposed to wear a high waisted polka dot skirt but oh no ipit ang bilbil! hehe So I changed and opted to wear this high waisted polka dot skirt instead. And boy I was glad that I wore this and I was happy with it. Paired it with a plain top but with nice textures that makes it more fab than a regular plain shirt. I actually love this shirt too even if it's not tucked in. I also love this skort as it gives me a girly look but is very comfortable. Since it's in dark color, it still hids my bilbil even if it's high waisted (high waist bottoms are mostly suitable for those who don't have excess tummy) plus the length! This is the length that I want in shorts or mini skirts as it gives me an illusion of thin thighs.

I was in the mood to wear a few accessories for today and I actually just grabbed them with out thinking if it will match my outfit. I was already in a hurry to go so I just grabbed 2 items and I got these 2 sophisticated accessories that matched very well with each other. They are both very femininely baby pink with gold accents.

I also wore a slim belt to finalize the look to hide the imperfectness of the fringes of my tucked in outfit. It doesn't really hide it literally but more of layering for a clean look. 

Lastly, wore this braided footwear again and used my over sized bag to complete my casual fab look. I think that it will complement my first attempt of a more mature and feminine look for 2014. haha But you all know that I don't have one specific type of look. :)

Moski Shield Mosquito Repellent Spray

When there was a Dengue Outbreak, there have been a lot of Mosquito Repellents that came out in the market. There have been a few unbranded products that came out too and even the plant itself is already being sold. There are different types of Mosquito Repellents already available where in previously we only have lotion type. Now a days we have patches, sprays, lotions, bracelets and of course the plant.

For this post, let us try the spray. I actually got this in one of the loot bags that I got last year and just recently used it. 

What I think about the product:

• I like that cute packaging that this product is intended for kids (so it somehow looks children friendly)
• I love that it is spray type and in liquid form
• It smells the same as the other Mosquito Repellent, smells like citronella
• The smell is strong but not harsh on the nose and doesn't lead to headache
• I like that this product is not sticky on the skin 
• Very easy to use, just spray it
• According to the packaging it lasts up to 6 hours
• It actually works, it prevents me from being bitten by mosquitoes

Sani Spray Sanitizer

A different post for today. Let's talk about Sanitation, and yes it is very important for us to Sanitize our things so as to prevent viruses! I got this Sani Spray which I intended to use on wash rooms specially when I go to a different lalaland. :) I actually used this on my trip last year. 

And Yes, I tried it at the airport at S Land as I want it to kill the viruses and germs. 

What I think about the product:

• Colorless like water
• Very easy to use, just spray it
• Lemon Grass Smell
• I really can't feel and see the effect so I think it's better to use Alcohol at least no need to bring 2 products(just my thought)

Pond's Acne Clear White

This is actually a delayed post. :) I was supposed to blog about this last year but I had to repair my laptop. But better late than never right? :)

Just in time when I already can't find and buy my previous facial wash, then came out Pond's Acne Clear White variant. You all know that I am oily and that I am like having teenager skin at this stage of mine. :) And so, it's worth a try for this product.

I just knew that this product is for acne prone skin and didn't know that it can help fight 10 skin problems. I learned about it when I was reading the packaging at home. And look, it doesn't just fight acne but also helps make skin lighter.

According to Pond's the special ingredient for this product that helps to do their claim are Salicylic Acid, Herbal Clay, Smoothening Scrub Beads and Brightening Essence. We all know that Salicylic Acid works for acne while the Herbal Clay is the one that absorbs impurities, oils and make up from the skin. And of course the other 2 ingredients are already self explanatory. 

What I think about the product:

• I like the look of the packaging, it looks dermaish and a serious product for acne problems
• It has mini beads that helps scrub away impurities and dirts 
• Doesn't dry my face even if it has mini scrubs ( I encountered a product before that dried my face)
• It's not purely color white, it's a little grayish due to the herbal clay ingredient
• It has a light fragrant fresh smell which I like
• It gives me a squeaky clean feeling after
• Not harsh on the skin, no irritation or redness occurred
• I actually used this after using Proactiv, I think it did a great job too
• Though this product really can't compare to Proactiv but I noticed that my skin wasn't as oily as before I used Proactiv
• I encountered occasional break outs during my monthly period
• Doesn't fully / totally eliminate oiliness, acne and other skin problems
• Didn't notice if it brightened my skin, but I think it helps to lighten my acne scars
• Affordable
• Overall, this is a great over the counter product
• This is actually my second tube

Jean on Jean

 Happy 2014 everyone! Here's a very quick post for today. After a lot of festivities, I think that I need to cover up my tummy haha! So I thought of wearing a loose top! haha  So tried to pair it with another jeans and thought of trying a Jean on Jean look ..... see if I can pull it off. 

With a lighter jean top, I tried to pair it with the usual colored jeans and I think it looks fine. I think wearing Jeans on Jeans look will always depend on the type and color of jeans plus the style too. For me there's no rule on it but for this look, I think it's better to pair different colors of Jeans but with the style of my top I think I can try pairing it with the same color hue of jeans too. ( I would probably try it next time hehe)

Since I am already wearing a Jean on Jean look, I decided to wear this chucks in red since it's new year. :) To have a red color on my look. I was supposed to wear a colorful footwear. hehe  And again, a pop of color with my bright colored watch.

Lastly, to be on the safe side given my first Jeans on Jeans attempt I decided to use a neutral black bag to manage my total look.
