Nestle KitKat Chunky White

It's been a while since I posted about chocolates. I was actually eating a lot of chocolates lately and oops! I'm on a diet! So when on a diet, you need to portion the chocolate that you eat so as you still be able to have your love or chocolate craving. For this post, I want to share with you what I think about Nestle KitKat Chunky white. Kitkat is available in different chocolate types already like this one in white chocolate.

This is not the usual KitKat that we are all familiar and used to. When we hear about KitKat one look is translated into our mind and it's the small finger sized 4 pieces wafers that are coated into a milk chocolate with the matching tag line Have a break have a KitKat.

To live up to this modern era, one must learn to innovate! So for KitKat, this is their innovation. Creating a jumbo KitKat into one whole Chunky wafer coated in chocolate.

For this post, I will be sharing with you the white chocolate flavor.

Look! Nestle has a Cocoa Plan, this is actually like their way of giving back to the society where they help chocolate farmers! I don't want to ellaborate on this since I am of no better position to share about it. But to know more about Nestle Cocoa Plan, please do check out their Nestle Cocoa Plan website.

Moving on to the chocolate, it really smells white chocolate! And upon opening, it does really look like a jumbo KitKat.

Sorry for the photo, I didn't place it in the refrigirator. :) Deformed by some of my other chocolates.hehe

I think it is composed of 3 flat wafers sticked together and coated with white chocolate.

What I think:
  • White Chocolate is sweet. It has enough white chocolate. (Look the thickness of the white chocolate).
  • Wafer has enough content! And it's consistent with the original KitKat. I love the wafer, it's super yummy.
  • Though I wasn't fund of the white chocolate. I find it same as the usual white chcolate but it's not a cheap white chocolate.
  • It was ok for me. But for white chocolate lovers I think you'll like this. (I am not fond of white chocolate but I do appreciate it somehow)
Have you tried it and do you like it?

Chocolate Strawberry

How time flies, we are already on the second month of the year and it only means one thing! Love month, we can hear, see, and feel the love is in the air. So this post is just in time for this love month. There will be alot of merchandise available in the market that you can choose from to give to your love once. Most common gifts are flowers and gifts and for this post, let's talk about choclates. Yipee food. haha!

Choclates are always one of the favorite Love month gifts since it's sweet for sweetness. But I guess this is an alternative or partner to flowers, but many are giving chocolates specially to those who don't want flowers and this is very easy to keep. Para sa mga nagtatago at shy at secret, idaan na sa chocolates... Another thing is that chocolates are sulit since it's something you can eat unlike flowers, when it dries up it will end up in the trash can.

How about chocolates and strawberries?? I don't know what's with strawberries, maybe because it's color red and how cute or sophisticated it look that it's also a staple in the Love month. So why not give a chocolate coated strawberry this love month?? Great right?? :)

I actually got this in a supermarket/pasalubong center from K-land. Look how premium looking is this Chocolate Strawberry. It's in the form of white and milk chocolate caoted on the strawberries.

It's nice that it has a paper layer on top so that the chocolates will stay on place and won't stick on the carton.

Look at the gold holder of the choclates, it looks very premium right? Plus the chocolate cups for each piece. You can really see the totalness of this product through it's packaging.

It contains 15 pieces of chocolated coated strawberries with 5 of the white choc and 10 of the milk chocolates.

On a closer look, you can see the shape of the strawbberies including its arcs.

Since it looks very premium, let's now know if it taste premium.

White chocoalte, doesn't taste that premium. It taste like the ordinary white chocolate but it's not too sweet. But it is still good. The Strawberry is actually a wafer, I thought that it will contain a real fruit. But the wafer really taste like a strawberry plus it's very sour! I can taste seperately both the chocolate and the wafer. The wafer melts in the mouth along with the choclate. I wasn't fund of it that much.

Moving on to the Milk Chocolate, this actually taste a lot better than the white chocolate. The milk chocolate isn't the cheap quality of chocolate. It's very milky and chocolatey, the taste blends well with the sourness of the strawberry wafer. This is good!

Packaging is very important as it gives the story and impression with out the experience yet. But the packaging is nothing if the content or the product doesn't match the packaging. For this item, the milk chocolate saved it and have matched the packaging. This is actually quite affordable so it's good to give to your love ones this love month. But I got this in K-Land. Do you know where we can get this here in the Philippines? Or do we have something like this here? Share it with me.

Milky Way Midnight

Chocolates are everywhere! Chocolates galore! Gosh, fattening! haha I love chocolates and I want to share with you one of my favorite brand (although lahat favorite ko haha! as shamefull as it may seem haha) So here it is, Milky Way Midnight Dark. I've been eating Milky Way for a long time and it is actually my first time to try it in Dark Chocolate.

Here's my verdict:

  • I love the dark chocolate, it's not bitter and it has the right sweetness!
  • Balance of the dark choco with the sweetness of the Golden Caramel.
  • It is very chewy.
  • Super Like!

What are your favorite chocolates??
