Yakult Light

Finally! A product improvement from Yakult after the emergence of gazzilions of products. Yakult for so long only have their one and only product. No product extension, improvement nor modification. Same old look and size, it's only the price that is changing and not much Yakult ladies anymore. 

People are gearing towards being healthy, one of the healthy products for me would always be Yakult. I love drinking Yakult! It taste so good plus it has good health benefits. I can drink 1 pack in one sitting haha I just don't do it. It is said that one bottle is the recommended amount of lactobacillus that we need in a day. Can anyone please tell me if what is the maximum quantity that we can consume in a day? hihi

So here's Yakult light, the sound of it it's like the healthier version of the regular Yakult but with a bland taste.

It has the same size with the regular Yakult. 

 

It's good that they put the expiry date at each of the bottle. This is very important!

How many calories per bottle? Looks ok to me!

Since it's light, let us see the difference of the ingredients to know how did it became light. :)

Oh, it has more ingredients that seems like a little complicated. I don't know if the ingredients are really lighter but I do believe in them. There's still glucose but additional fructose and sucralose. Skimmed milk used for light is in powdered form and with additional flavor. I wonder what flavor is it?

Though there are difference in the ingredients the taste is still almost the same. There's a little difference in taste but it's not super noticeable. It's your regular Yakult taste but better for the health.

Celeteque Dermo Science Acne Solutions Acne Spot Corrector Gel

Argh! I'm having terrible break out lately! Why o why?? My acne fighter is almost finish, like my previous post I was getting out of what I was using so I have to get a new one. I was thinking of trying a new one so I have thought of getting Celeteque again. I have tried this before already so I want to try it again to help me with my current problem. 

 

This is one of the product from Celeteque Dermo Science + Acne Solutions Line. This is Acne Spot Corrector Gel, it is the product that helps to dry out acne so that it will disappear as fast as I hope it to be. I also use this when I have some emerging or the acne that is just about to come out. I try to prevent it from coming out.

To know more about the product. It has the ingredients to control acne.

It's good that they indicate both manufacturing and expiry dates plus it's easy to read.

Now let's move on to the tube, yes it's in a tube form.

It's good that they also put the expiry dates in the tube so that when we throw the box already we would still know.

The actual product since it is in gel type, it's clear in color and of course gel type.

My Experience:

• I like the look, it looks very dermaish (since this is really their intention)
• It has the ingredients for fighting acne
• It smells ok, herb like. It's not irritating and mild.
• Tube type is ok with me since it's easy to get the product
• More hygienic
• Easy to control how much product I need
• The gel abosorbs well and easily
• It dries up acne after 3 to 4 days (this is the big one huhu)
• It stings a little bit but I feel that it is working
• It dries the acne only and not the face or skin
• It works strong with acne but mild on the skin, doesn't burn the skin

Just make sure not to put too much, just put the needed amount on the acne.

This is a good over the counter product. I will get this when needed.

Bak Kut Teh

Just a very quick post for today. I was gone for several days last week but since it was a business trip I didn't had the chance to document new food that I was able to have. I was just around somewhere in Asia and here's what I was able to try for the first time. 

I already have heard about this food but it was only now that I was able to try this and it was in the airport already. This is Bak Kut Teh, it's like Ma Kut (Spareribs / Meat Bone soup) but with better flavored soup. The soup is more flavorful and a little spicy. 

It is usually paired with this 3 side dishes... steamed soy peanut, vegetable (kiam chay) and Chinese doughnut. And of course like Ma Kut, Bak Kut Teh has it's own distinctive soy sauce that is really good (The soy sauce is covered in this photo.. I'm so sorry)!  

Where's the best Bak Kut Teh?

Eskinol Pimple Fighting Facial Wash

This year, I find myself trying more and more products for the first time but of course I still have my to go to products! For facial washes, I am actually adventurous enough as long as it is for acne prone skin. I was about to run out of my usual facial wash and then suddenly it was not available in the supermarket that I usually go to. I was also in a hurry and why in the world it was that time when acne clearing variants of different brands were also not available. Thank God I saw this one, Eskinol Pimple Fighting Facial Wash. I tried to read it even if I was running out of time already, since it was indicated that it's pimple fighting and with Dermaclear formula I thought that it was worth a try.

Base on the packaging it also controls oil, helps breakouts and also an anti-bacterial formula. I actually don't know which one of the ingredient is the pimple fighting formula. Eskinol is already a well known brand for skin care specially for toners. Since they are a trusted brand already, I was at ease to try their facial wash.

It actually has a big hole!

My Experience:

• The product in color white looks very pure, with out any harmful chemicals
• Smells good and very derma like
• Presentation of the packaging is simple but the white part gets dirty easily
• The hole is big, I always get more product than what I need
• After almost a month of using the product (still using all the same products except for the facial wash only), I still encounter continuous break outs :(  
• I find that it doesn't really work as pimple fighting
• I didn't feel the product's authority to fight my breakouts

It may just be my experience. How about you? How was it with you?

Herbal Essences Dangeroulsy Straight Shampoo

Hi guys! We are in the second half of 2014 already! In a few months time it will be BER months already! Wah!! How time runs fast!

It's hair care time again! :) I was in the mood to try another hair care again and then I suddenly realized that I haven't been using Herbal Essences for quite some time already! So here I am addicted to Herbal Essences shampoo again. If you've been reading my blog you may already know that I have blogged about Herbal Essences already but it was the conditioner. So this will be my first post for their shampoo.

In using Herbal Essences again, I decided to get this dangerously straight variant. Since I have short hair and it's already in the length that is prone to fly away! I don't want to cut it since it will grow back again to that length, so the answer tothos is to manage it as much as I can. And one of my way in managing with this length of hair is to use a good shampoo.

To know more about the product, here's the back portion. :) I really like the cuteness and creativity of Herbal Essences hair care! Very consistent and creates story for every hair problem. The colors are very vibrant, fun personality and energetic vibe. 

Here's my experience of this product.

What I like about the product:

• Great presentation
• Smells so good! But not too strong
• Smell stays for several hours
• I appreciate the colored shampoo, it's cute
• Texture is just right, not super thick but not too thin
• Really helped me managed to straighten hair for the first few weeks of use
• Amount of product is just right
• Hole of the packaging is just right, not too big but big enough to get the right amount of product needed

What I didn't like about the product:

• After several weeks of usage, seems it didn't help me manage to straighten hair
• It's like my hair was used to it.

Tip: To maximize the effect of this product, you can rest for 1 to 2 days of using this product

Here's how my hair looked! Look at the fly away hairs at the bottom. It could have been worse with out managing it! :)
